Cloud Native Mauritius is a community of like-minded individuals who share a passion for Cloud Native technologies such as Kubernetes or the hundreds of projects under the umbrella of the Cloud Native Computing Foundation. Speaking of the CNCF, Cloud Native Mauritius is our local chapter but is officially recognised by and affiliated with the CNCF, as part of a global network of nearly 200 community-run chapters.

Our small community brings together tech enthusiasts, professionals, and organisations who have been captivated by the epicness of the Cloud Native ecosystem and are eager to share their knowledge and learn about new technologies from their peers.

Given the lack of popularity of Kubernetes and Cloud Native here in Mauritius, with companies still opting for outdated virtual machines, we initiated Cloud Native Mauritius with the ambition of promoting these awesome technologies and hopefully accelerating their adoption through meetups, events, and workshops, all while having a blast!
